Hello!

We are company based in Vienna and Munich and we ordered the SDID 1020 Development Kit, where we access Mifare 4k cards.

Now we face the problem that we might need cards with a bigger amount of data capacity, e.g. Mifare DesFire 8k, or cards which emulate Mifare with e.g. 16K.

As we are thinking about to use SDID for a long term project we would like to know if the SDID 1020 would be capable of handling Mifare Cards with a higher amount of capacity, just by replacing the driver and we are also interested if and when CA could deliver such a driver for the SDID 1020.

BR, Stephan Haslinger

Only Mifare 1K and 4K formats are supported in the current SDiD 1020 SDK release.

thx for the answer. But will CA implement new drivers in near future, or will SDID 1020 never support cards > 4k?

The SDiD 1020 SDK supports all DESFire tags no matter the size.

Hello Brian,

I want to write Mifare DESFire 8k cards using C#. Is there an demo application available where I can see how to write cards larger than 1k or 4k?

Thanks,

Andreas

Sorry, there is no source code specifically for what you want.

Hi,

Does NFC only support Mifare Classic or is there a possibility to do NFC with Desfire ?

Regards,

Jonny

Like Mifare and DESFire, NFC is based off of the ISO14443 specification so I'm not sure what you are asking.
