Hi, clients suggested us the use of a new feature to the program and we decided start the develop, they want read usind the sdid 1210 and storage the information of the database of our aplication in a portable dispositive like Compact flash or Sdid card with memory to then pass the database information to laptop or desktop computer, that's because they use the pda to investigations outside, now we want ask if is posible storage info in a sdid card and then pass this information a laptop or desktop or is better use a compact flash to this, remember we want save databases. Thanks so much for your answer.

Most PDAs don't have both SD and CF slots. I suggest upgrading from an SDiD 1210 to an SDiD 1212 this way you have only one device with embedded memory and not two separate devices. You can store as much information as you want on the SDiD 1212 up to 512MB.

Passing information from a PDA using SD or CF memory is the same; the OS treats them both as external memory.

Plug the SDiD 1212 into the SD slot of a laptop or desktop then use windows explorer to download the files. If your desktop doesn't have an SD slot you can buy one of those 3.5" 18-in-1 Combo Drives.
